Nothing goes to waste in this 7' x 11' space! Semi-custom cabinets that float on the wall and utilize simple door panels keep the space feeling clean and open; the simulated stone countertop with an undermount sink is a durable and easy to maintain work surface.

Using a galley concept allowed us to create a generous circulation zone between the kitchen and living/dining room in this 1970's house. A fun light fixture complements accent tile and wallpaper, and cork plank is a quiet, comfortable, and sustainable flooring option.

Function leads form in this important space, but there's still room for elegance and beauty. Ergonomics, flow, materials, and finishes all deserve careful consideration.
